Why does beer advertising work with nascar?
by markt140 | Posted in Other - Advertising & Marketing
other than the demographics are there WHY does it pretence of sense for beer or liquor to advertise with nascar a family based and foetus attended event.
I characterize as NASCAR likes to portray a family-friendly fetish the same was Lav Vegas likes to portray that. And yes, families go to Las Vegas, but they are there for a much varied experience than adults. I think the same is true for NASCAR.

Is begging .27 cents to buy a bottle of beer good advertising marketing?
by Don H If both parents are albino | Posted in Other - Advertising & Marketing
The amount is for a song. The reason can be related too. You might be nice and come closer to the physical price. It is hot outside. The tweaker looks thirsty. How much would you give for a beaten pair of panties that are obviously stolen.
It would be improve marketing to present the beer as something excellent people want, rather than associating it with panhandlers and bums. The not working panties are a separate issue, but I wouldn't buy them.

Cobra beer launches £4million campaign to become top 10 beer brand
Cobra beer has announced it is launching a multimedia campaign across TV, cinema and digital advertising in the UK, in a bid to get into the Top 10 UK Beers, and protagonist the World Beer category.
The campaign, launching in March and costing £4million, aims to station Cobra over and above its synonymy with Indian food, and to instead focus on its Indian inheritance, image and taste. The advert will use the strapline ‘A fresh take on veritable India’, to celebrate the origins of the brand and to embrace the contemporary cultural aspects emerging in India today.
The TV advert, created by Beattie McGuinness Bungay, features a court full of modern Indian passengers travelling through India, and includes three of India’s biggest up-and-coming talents to produce a fresh take on different areas of Indian culture: fashion blogger Manou, eats and lifestyle writer Vandana, and musical duo BLOT. These three will feature throughout the 2012 campaigns to bear out and amplify the message.

A long and winding road: a brief history of alcohol advertising
1930s
In 1932, following cancellation of the Ban Act, the first gather of legislation was the The cup that cheers Act that did not, however, cover rules on juice advertising. The abolition of the Debarment Act saw the give back of the bottle advertising. In 1936, Alko’s Ship aboard of Directors set up a body to mould complicated guidelines on advertising.

Meet in the 1960s was chewy, and breweries began to use stronger word choice in their advertising. The rallying cry second-hand by Hartwall, Karjalasta kajahtaa (Clanging from Karelia!), as well as Lahti-based Mallasjuoma’s Ei ole Lahden voittanutta (Lahti’s unbeaten) emerged in the 1960s.
