FOOD: Legendary Nic-o-bolis get cheaper on Thursdays
REHOBOTH Coast -- If there is a food item that is legendary in downtown Rehoboth, it's the Nic-o-boli.
The stromboli-like birth with ground beef, cheese, pizza sauce or any number of variations was crafted years ago by holder Nick Caggiano Sr. It is available at the restaurant's original location on First Alley, which opened in 1971, and also at the nearby Nicola Pizza on the Avenue, which opened in 2010. Both locations extend half-price Nic-o-bolis on Thursdays.
"The specials have been going tickety-boo with everyone's favorite being Nic-o-Boli Day," general manager Kelly Munyan said. "Appropriate Sr. always says it's like the post office. Even if there is rain, sleet or snow, people will always progress in for a half-price Nic-o-boli."
Munyan said the two-story Nicola's on the Avenue has an expanded menu and many more liquor choices at its two bars. During happy hour, every day from 4-7 p.m., Miller Lite, Coors Graceful, Yuengling and Pabst Blue Ribbon beers are $2. The Avenue also has a plethora of other specials throughout the week.

And while Arlington is musty to Maryland, the beer background of Washington, DC couldn’t be further away from that of Colorado. We discussed the ambition of Ingenuity Beer Week and what Reel Bottom Brewery has to proposal limited foxiness beer hunters.
Mike S: The necessary opener, what beer are you drinking?
Dave: This is our Wan Ale on cask. The trade beer we started on Monday was our Chocolate Poblano Brown. The Chocolate Poblano Brown starts with our OK brown ale. We chopped the peppers alternative from the pantry and put them in the hop pouch (everything but the stems). From the unmixed fermenter we put the brown ale in the cask and for non-essential fermentation as a primer we tolerant of 500 ml of chocolate syrup. We let that imitated fermentation have at it for 4-5 days. Then put it in the dishearten space for a few days and then it was immediate to dish up....
