How do I sign my paintings?

I have paintings on canvas that I would like to sign but I dont conscious what is the best way to do it?

What medium should I use? A brush? Pen?

What color? Black, virtuous, any color?

Where to sign on the canvas?

Sign in same characterize for it to last the test of time. Use any color that harmonizes with the painting and look at the structure: where could the signature improve or at least not harm the composition of your original concept.





Can I sign my paintings with a different name?

I am an artist and a novelist. I want to use a pen name to write under and now, I am also wondering if I can sign my paintings with this same name.

If u keep signing the pieces u have created with the same signature then that will be your own 'unsurpassed' mark, but if u do different signatures, as previously stated in the comeback above (^), make sure it's not been used by anyone
