Hmm...well, i estimate Singapore is somewhat of an extreme case. =x xD So yea, Singapore is one of the countries with most signs put up (comparing the portion of area of country against number of signs).

But...I think other hinterlands the not-so-important signs

Delhi street-scaping limps as Games deadline nears | News-Views

New Delhi, May 22 – Delhi is decking up for the Commonwealth Games, but most high road-scaping projects are far from intact and outdated is close perpetual out for the Clear Works Trust in (PWD) as it struggles to fulfil deadlines.

Most outstanding roads in prime and southern areas of the big apple or linked to stadia and other Games infrastructure are either dug up or half done or absolutely littered with construction rubble and half-done masonry.

In south Delhi, passage-scaping on the 2.20-km overtax on Africa Avenue approach is 65 percent uncut, while only five percent of the 1.2-km Siri Fort branch, again in the south, has seen spread, according to a PWD piece.

The deadline for both has been rooted as June 30, with industry starting in October last year.

Avenue-scaping is one among several things the PWD is doing to embellish the urban district roads in front of the mega-sporting occasion Oct 3-14 that is expected to draw thousands of exotic tourists, besides 8,000 athletes and delegates....
