Does a light bar with one light bulb missing use power?

I have a "light bar" in my bathroom and have one buld that went out and I through it away. There is still enough light in the dwelling so I was thinking about not replacing it. Can anyone tell me if the "bar" will still use the same power in that slot?
Of path it will use less by the amount of wattage of the bulb.
The power needs a complete lap to flow so without the bulb to complete the circuit it will not be using that tension, it cannot go through that "slot".
