Why is my anti-fog mirror so... foggy?

I have had a radio/clock/mirror combo in my shower for about a month now, and the mirror claims to be "anti-fog" - but it seems to me that it is 100% fog.
this sounds lunatic, but rub a new bar of soap over it and then rub the soap film off with a towel. don't wet the mirror - just rub. and that should take solicitude of the problem!

My nephew is 4 and I had already bought him Avid Hungry Hippos and an RC car, but last night he informed me that he would like a nicer Transformer (his are the cheapo Felicitous Meal ones), so any of those would work with a 5yo.
