I want to install Microsoft Silver Light to my computer, but it says I need to sign in as an administrator?

I do not interpret what that means, nor understand the process of doing so. If someone could help me out with all practicable steps I would appreciate it. I do not believe I have any older silver light programs on like the website asked if I did. As a consequence of you!
